Jo McNamara has won Radiography Professional of the Year for Yorkshire and North Trent.
The Society and College of Radiographer’s award will be presented on November 8 – on World Radiography Day.
Jo is an ambassador for Radiotherapy UK, co-host of Rad Chat and a senior lecturer in radiotherapy and oncology specialising in oncology, student recruitment and healthcare education.
Jo commented: “Thank you so much to those people who nominated me.
“It’s a privilege to receive an award like this, especially considering all the amazing work I see all my radiography colleagues doing around the country day in and day out.”
