Would you like to join the GRACE project and share your experience?
If you’ve had a gynaecological cancer, cared for someone with this kind of cancer, or could go on to develop it, we would like to hear from you.
GRACE stands for Gynae Radiotherapy Consent Enhancement and is a research collaboration between Lancaster and Bangor Universities, funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR).
Radiotherapy UK is a charity partner for the project, which is welcoming people to join its public involvement and engagement panel.
Gynaecological cancers include cervical, ovarian, uterine, vaginal, vulvar and fallopian tube cancers.
- You don’t need any special knowledge or skills to take part, and the project can offer support and training to help you explore your interests within the project.
- You can participate as much or as little as works for you, from as little as 30 minutes to up to 2 days a month.
- Your travel costs will be covered, and you’ll also be paid for your time.
The project would specifically like to involve people from gender, sexual, and romantic minorities and people from ethnic minority backgrounds in this work.
