Radiotherapy UK and The Global Coalition for Radiotherapy are heading to ESTRO this year to celebrate the publication of their joint abstract on creating a framework for national cancer plans.
The European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO) annual congress takes place from May 3 to 7 in Glasgow. The theme of ESTRO 2024 is “Radiation Oncology: Bridging the Care Gap.” GCR and Radiotherapy UK collaborated to write an abstract for ESTRO, which was accepted and published in the Abstract Book.
We invite all ESTRO attendees to view our poster and learn more about our partnership work, which drives better outcomes for people with cancer. Highlighted in the poster are the remarkable achievements of the RT Essential Standards and the RT Vision Document. Please consider sharing this information with your networks.
Radiotherapy UK will also be joining the Vertual Ltd team on their stand to showcase our first patient resource video. The video launched a month ago after we gained our PIF TICK accreditation, and is for people having EBRT (a type of radiotherapy) for breast cancer.
