Introducing our new Charity Director.

Charity Director, Sarah Quinlan.

We’re delighted to introduce our new Charity Director, Sarah Quinlan. Sarah has a strong track record in leading charities that punch above their weight and a wealth of experience in charity development, frontline delivery and advocating for positive change.

I am delighted to join the Radiotherapy UK team. The work the charity has undertaken to date is incredible and I am passionate about continuing to develop the services we offer, increase support for radiotherapy services throughout the UK and amplify the voices of the radiotherapy workforce and patients.

Says Sarah

This is also a great opportunity for us to introduce the core team here at Radiotherapy UK…………..

Sarah Quinlan – Charity Director, Prof Pat Price – Chair and Lynsey Rice – Therapeutic Radiographer Consultant. (Pictured below at the parliamentary drop in event -“The Cancer Backlog – What it means for your constituents”. Which took place on Tuesday 1st March 2022 and was attended by 63 parliamentarians)

We also have amazing support from Kim Meeking who runs our social media channels and supports the champions network. Our Instagram account is run by Naman Julka-Anderson. Both Naman and Kim are Therapeutic Radiographers working on the frontline in the UK and Canada respectively.

As you can see we are a very small team but believe we pack a heavy punch in our reach, media coverage and exposure, the research we carry out and keeping up to date and informed on the current situation in the UK. We are powerful in our campaigning – currently with the award winning campaign #catchupwithcancer highlighting the current cancer backlog and the need for a better radiotherapy service for the future in the UK.

We are always wanting to improve what the charity does and what we can do to best help the radiotherapy community. So please get in touch here
