Radiotherapy UK is thrilled to announce our latest event partner for this year’s #Miles4Radiotherapy.
The Leo Cancer Care team will be backing this summer’s virtual challenge for the radiotherapy community in support of our #CatchUpWithCancer campaign.

We have a joint mission to bring the best in radiation therapy to patients across the UK and we’re excited to be continuing to support through the #Miles4Radiotherapy fundraiser.”
This year’s #Miles4Radiotherapy challenge starts on July 1, and welcomes anyone impacted by cancer to create a team or individual challenge and clock up the miles for sponsorship. Participants can choose how they move: walking, running, scooting, wheeling, sailing, horse-riding, and paddle-boarding are just some of the choices from previous years. Everyone taking part will get a welcome pack and snazzy multifunctional headwear: and a Thank You lanyard at the end of the event. Participants will also we invited to sign up for an in-person race with 3mile and 10mile courses in Yorkshire.
Every step taken and pound raised supports the UK’s longest and loudest campaign for cancer patients facing deadly treatment delays. #CatchUpWithCancer was co-founded by Radiotherapy UK in 2020 and has never stopped speaking out since. At present, around 4 in 10 people wait longer than the recommended 62-days for to start cancer treatment.
Leo Cancer Care is known for developing an upright radiotherapy solution, aimed at making treatment more comfortable and effective for patients.
