The #Miles4Radiotherapy 2023 summer challenge has come to an end.
And we at Radiotherapy UK are still awe-struck at just how amazing you are. More than 400 people took part, and 30 teams went head-to-head for vital cancer treatment.
Together you travelled more than 118,000 miles – that is 45 times around every radiotherapy treatment centre in the UK. On top of that, you raised more than £17,000 to support our ongoing work:
- Supporting and advocating for the radiotherapy workforce
- Helping patients understand their treatment and supporting them through it
- Campaigning for better, fairer cancer treatment in the UK
We simply cannot do our work without you and this incredible support.
