@Rad_Chat podcast: Keeley Rigby “Do patients want to ring the bell?”

The following content contains images and descriptions of cancer treatment that some people may find upsetting or triggering.

Are we ever really finished with cancer? Is ringing a bell at the end of treatment a good idea?

In this @Rad_Chat oncology podcast interview with Therapeutic Radiographer Keeley Rigby you will hear a lively discussion about her research project “Celebrate”.

Keeley ran focus groups for patients and professionals and found that the presence of a bell on wards is not evidence-based, and deeply upsetting for many. Keeley shares different ways that patients and loved ones can mark a moment without emotionally harming themselves or hurting others by accident.
