Ways to get involved

Fabulous fundraising

Each year our #Miles4Radiotherapy fundraiser welcomes hundreds of participants to enjoy a virtual summer challenge full of fitness and wellbeing: Ambassadors support by taking part and sharing the challenge far and wide.

Sharing expertise

Fill out and share our annual workforce survey with your department, get involved with running patient focus groups, take part in our clinical engagement group and support our workforce webinars.

Promoting the profession

Radiotherapy UK wants to encourage the next generation of professionals, with your support. Share your open days with our comms team or create a ‘talking heads’ video explaining what inspires you to do this work.

Our history

On 4th February 2018 (World Cancer Day), the Radiotherapy UK Champions’ Network was established to help the radiotherapy community share success stories, tackle issues and raise awareness of best practice in radiotherapy.

A committed group of radiotherapy professionals representing NHS and Private Sector radiotherapy units in the UK formed the network and became essential to the mission of the charity.

Past and present Ambassadors support us with fundraising for #Miles4Radiotherapy, our annual workforce survey, events and reviewing our patient resources (set to relaunch this year).

These days we are known as the Ambassadors’ Network and our numbers are growing! Fill in the form below to express an interest.

The network is primarily for radiotherapy professionals.

As an Ambassador for Radiotherapy UK, I take pride in the opportunity to amplify the voices of patients and healthcare professionals alike, advocating for increased government investment in cancer services.
