Radiotherapy UK seeks clinical review volunteers to support patient resources

  • A woman lies on a treatment bed with her arms above her head holding onto two immobilization devicesOur huge thanks for an overwhelming response. We are responding to applications as soon as we can but will not be able to respond to any sent after the 18/9/2024
  • At present we have more than enough interest, but may advertise again the future!

Are you a therapeutic radiographer, clinical oncologist or radiotherapy professional based in the UK or with experience working in the UK healthcare system.?

Could you volunteer some time to review patient resources for our website?

We are currently developing free, accessible patient resources in line with our PIF TICK accreditation. The resources are designed to guide patients through the process of having radiotherapy, the effects of cancer treatment and share stories from others living with and beyond cancer. Our new Patients and Families hub was recently soft-launched for user testing. We now have many more resources to review, publish and create.

  • Flexible: review often or just once. Even an hour of your time can make a huge difference
  • Trusted: support our charity as we create trusted resources following PIF guidelines
  • Patient-centred: Our valued patient participants play a crucial role in our review work

Share your clinical experience and support the thousands of UK patients that need radiotherapy each year.
