We are genuinely delighted to announce a new partnership between Oncology Professional Care and Radiotherapy UK: a partnership that will see the only national charity dedicated to improving radiotherapy treatment (that’s us) joining the 2024 edition this May.

Sarah Quinlan MBE, director of Radiotherapy UK, said: “We are delighted to see the life-saving treatment that is radiotherapy take the spotlight at this year’s conference; and cannot wait to spend quality time with the radiotherapy and oncology community, talking about how we can work together for better patient outcomes.

“Working with Oncology Professional Care is a real privilege and we truly appreciate the chance to shout loud and proud about our 10-year Vision for Radiotherapy and our #CatchUpWithCancer campaign.”

This collaboration is a step forward in advancing oncology care and delivering innovative, patient-centric treatments to improve patient outcomes. Together, Oncology Professional Care and Radiotherapy UK will share best practices and fresh perspectives in radiotherapy with the entire multi-disciplinary team, as part of the Rad Chat Radiotherapy Theatre – in partnership with Rad Chat, the hugely successful podcast, hosted by the multi-award-winning therapeutic radiographers Jo McNamara and Naman Julka-Anderson.

Lucy Clarke, event manager of Oncology Professional Care, said: “We are so excited to join forces with Radiotherapy UK this year. This new partnership is a testament to our commitment to delivering the highest standard of learning to the oncology healthcare community and ultimately, enhancing patient treatment and outcomes.”

Following a record-breaking attendance in 2023, Oncology Professional Care will provide world-class, CPD-accredited learning to the entire team including oncologists, surgeons, pharmacists, therapeutic radiographers, clinical nurse specialists, allied healthcare professionals, clinical directors, and more. Over 1,500+ professionals will gain key clinical updates and discover cutting-edge developments in a two-day programme, highly centred around shaping the future of patient experience.

Oncology Professional Care is free to attend for registered healthcare professionals, those who work in the field of oncology in a healthcare capacity, and other relevant decision-makers only. You can register online: https://bit.ly/3vBOzXD
