Radiotherapy UK shortlisted for Radiography Team of the Year at Society Awards

We are delighted to announce our nomination for Radiography Team of the Year at this year’s Radiography Awards. We would also like to offer our warmest congratulations on their nomination to our friends and Ambassadors, Rose Ting, Connor Parish, Lamiya Khokon, James Barber and the Sheffield Hallam University radiography department.

The Radiography Awards is run annually by the Society and College of Radiographers, which celebrates dedication, professionalism and innovation in the field. For many years, the awards ceremony has shined a spotlight on stand-out individuals, teams and students from across Britain who have truly made a positive difference to patient care, service delivery, or through academic success.

The 2025 ceremony will take place in November, bringing together radiographers from across the UK to celebrate their contributions.

Sarah Quinlan MBE, Director of Radiotherapy UK, said: “We are incredibly proud to be recognised at the Radiography Awards. This nomination reflects the dedication, skill, compassion and hard work of our team, and our commitment to breaking down barriers to modern radiotherapy for every patient. It is truly an honour to be acknowledged alongside so many outstanding professionals in our field.

“I would also like to congratulate and thank our Ambassadors – those that have been nominated, and those that have taken the time to nominate; we are so grateful for all that they do to support UK cancer patients and excellence in radiotherapy.

“Lastly, we would like to thank all those who have supported us, our patient advocates, supporters, funders and the wider radiotherapy community for helping us achieve this nomination. We will continue to champion access to this life-saving, cost effective treatment across the UK.”
