Radiotherapy UK is delighted to announce that we have successfully renewed our PIF TICK accreditation.
The PIF TICK health mark confirms that Radiotherapy UK remains a ‘trusted information creator’ – following the guidelines and criteria of the Patient Information Forum. This means we are committed to high quality resources coproduced with patients and clinicians, and continual learning to improve our understanding and inclusivity.
In 2025 we launched our Patients and Families online hub – free, trusted radiotherapy information for UK patients with more than fifty resources. Each year we go through a full assessment so we can keep improving. This year’s assessment is our third.
Everyone who takes part in our Miles4Radiotherapy virtual challenge this summer will be supporting more videos, more information and more inclusion.
Radiotherapy UK Director, Sarah Quinlan MBE, said:
“As we continue to navigate a challenging landscape for cancer care in this country, Radiotherapy UK prides itself in providing clear, reliable and accessible information to support better health outcomes for patients.
“We would like to thank the Patient Information Forum for their brilliant support over the last few years; and invite all patients, carers and clinicians to explore our accredited resources and to let us know what you think.”
