The Daily Express Launches its Campaign for Radiotherapy

The Express has launched a crusade to call for investment in radiotherapy of £1 Billion over 5 years. 

This is the first time a major UK newspaper has launched a campaign to improve things for our important area of cancer care.

With the announcement by the government that the dedicated national cancer plan will now be replaced by a ‘major conditions strategy’ action is desperately needed.

Radiotherapy UK Charity patron, Bryan Robson, pledges his support as a radiotherapy patient who states ‘radiotherapy saved his life’.

Also featured is Radiotherapy UK Chair, Prof Pat Price, adding her undeniably compelling and passionate voice.

Call to action for all Radiotherapy professionals and anyone effected by cancer:
